Dive Shops around Charlotte, LKN, Concord, NC??

I live in Huntersville, and work in Concord. Can anyone recommend a good shop for certification purposes?

If you live in Concord you might want to try Open Water Adventures on Hwy 29, not too far from the speedway, www.openwateradventures.com. There is also Lake Norman Scuba, www.lakenormanscuba.com, in Mooresville. You might want to check both of them out and see which instructor/shop you like better. If you want to go into Charlotte, try Divers Supply off Clanton Road.

Hey, Concord? How is it? Haven't been there since 1987. I know back then you had to drive into Charlotte to get anything SCUBA related. Peace.

It is a fairly new building. I used to drive by it all the time when they were constructing it. I would say it is 2-3 years old now. Haven't been by it yet, but I will let you know when I stop by after work.

Open Water Adventures has their own pool. Divers Supply Uses the Huntersville pool (olympic size)
