Dive shop relocating to Arlington............

Well with the recent news of the closing of SIS/Arlington ..... there is news of an existing dive shop relocating to SW Arlington in August!

Tiger Shark Scuba of Burleson will be having a Grand Opening of their new location August 11th.. They will be located in the shopping center located at I-20 and Little Road.

I drove by the store the other evening and it looks like work is progressing on finishing out the new dive shop.

Good news for Arlington...when I was certified and lived up there in the 70's there was only one dive shop there Arlington Scuba....is it still there?? and is Tom still running it??...his dad George certified me and he was just a kid working in the back lol....boy that has been a few years ago

Yep they are still in business and Tom is at the shop.....I have only been in the shop a couple times myself though.

Tom is a good guy. Actually, Tom is quite the character. I can never quite figure out what he's REALLY thinking.

I stopped by the new shop and visited with Jim,,,seems like they have done a real nice job with the shop layout. It was busy the day I stopped by. Its strange though seeing this scuba shop in this shopping center....I have been going to this shopping area for years....but a good strange thing. Jim is a really nice guy and I am sure the shop will be a success.

PS-- my persl. LDS will remain Surface Interval Scuba being the doors will be staying open, but its nice having other fall back shops in Arlington.
