What are TRIM weights and WHY and HPOW would you USE them?

Trim weights are weights that are normaly installed in other places besides a weight belt or BC weight system that help you achieve the proper trim while diving. Most of the trim weights sold are meant to attach either to your tank, or to a back plate. However, I would say that ankle weights would also qualify. Some BCs also have trim weight pockets mounted on there back. My girlfriend uses a 3 lb weight in the left back shoulder pocket of her Oceanic Flex to counteract the weight of her pony bottle.

Anyway, that's my understanding and I am sure others will be along to better expalain it then I did,

Ty

Some of the best... and I mean World Class rototillers use them to achieve impressive results...

I have even see folks use two pair of them to get that extra edge in traction... seems to really help those who are going for trench depth as opposed to just trying for general bottom blow out...
