That DR deco reg IS their argon reg. I always thought it was depth limited due to orifice size, not because it is unbalanced. I used one down to about 100' as an o2 reg on a SM CCR. Worked fine, but you don't need much flow in that situation.... brain fart... thinking suit bottle/argon firsts...
