Thanks for the report. Headed there in a couple weeks! Can't wait.

What time do you normally try to dive? High tide? Am before the wind? Thanks. Love the short and simple reports.

I go mornings
Tide doesn't matter
Wind, if waves are too big that I don't feel comfortable won't go.
Have gone in with 1' waves and have it kick up to 3' on the way out.
Vis, if I can see about 1' I'll go.
Have called many dives because the vis went to crap after the sandbar.
But have had low vis all the way out to 20'+ then have it open up.

Thanks. Going to try and sneak a few beach dives in between other tourist stuff like Peace River canoe trip if the water is right. Good luck.

Thanks for the reports, I'll be heading out there today (Thursday). But I am worried about the wind and waves. It looks choppy from the Marine forecast.

Does anyone know if it is worth heading out there today? The marine forecast is saying 2-3ft seas and choppy.

My guess is if you're beach diving you should be ok. Winds are showing out of the east so it should be calm at the beach.

I'm not there yet so i can't say for sure but the webcam at the crows nest looks like east winds.

Good luck. Let us know how you do if you go.
