We set out late today about 1000, after getting the weather report, 1' to 2' seas and partly cloudy. right... more like 2' to 3' seas, very chopy and partly hazie.

Ok we headed west to south pinellas reef, I think 10 miles or so, 3 boats anchored fishing and 1 trolling, ok so the nice guy I am I head north to the rube 14 miles (or so)
top speed around 24 mph (or so  ) and getting ourselves beat silly all the way there.
Ok we get to the rube and we are it, all to ourselves, 1 boat fishing 100 yards north and a boat with divers pulling anchor.
Time to grear up, wife hits the water first then I hand her the NEW sp-350 in the NEW pt-030 housing (oooh yeaah :D ) I hit the water and we start down and I figered I would get some pictures on the way down, why not? Already seeing barracudas by the dozens, the camera will not turn on, (now we are only 10' deep ) it flooded!!! Ok thats another thread.

Vis is 5' to 10', 15' at best, but top to bottom, ok have'nt been there since before red tide last year, a little disapointed after the looong ride out, ok but not worth a 2nd dive so, you got it, we head south to where we started
ok everyone is gone and we make the dive, vis is 5' to 10' and NOT top to bottom maybe half, still got barracudas by the dozens, and big too, I did see a nice 36" or so black grouper ( yes I left the gun on the boat), all-in-all it was ok. remember a bad day diving is better than a bad day not diving :D
