Ah. I felt like I missed something, there. Thanks for that. I was re-reading the two texts I got when I signed up for the classes, and looking through both glossaries for anything related to dive plans and air consumption....I'm still baffled that the basics aren't drilled into new divers like it seems they ought to be. You're correct, it is a pretty sad commentary. Wouldn't want to scare any new customers away with any MATH, now, would we?
