I actually used the Canon Housing, WP-DC4. No strobe. It comes with a diffuser plate. I think the next dive I do, I'll try taking it off and seeing if that makes any difference. The macro pics came out better than the wide angle. There are a few just green picks with shapes in them. Some pics aren't completely in focus, but I'm learning and it's a point and shoot camera, so as much versatility as the dSLRs. Visibility definitely played a major part in picture quality. I'm actually not sure if I can add a strobe to that camera setup. I'll have to research that one.

The visibility on Saturday was about 6-8 throughout at McAbee Beach. Today at Breakwater, it was about 8-10 feet until you got to the turn in the wall (deepest we went was 30 feet, might have cleared up a bit further out and deeper). Then it opened to about 15, maybe a little more. Deepest we got was 40 feet on the first dive and 32 feet on the second dive.

I'll try to take pictures next week at the get together on the 19th.

nice lucky shot of that seal. really cool. a strobe will make your pics a million times better. I bought one but it crapped out on me. I'm looking for another.

Cool pictures...but yeah, gotta find a strobe...anybody know a strobe that is negative buoyant?

Every strobe that I have seen is negatively buoyant...

Nice seal shot btw.

I might go looking for a strobe before this weekend then. :)
