I could do a dive or two off of our local beaches if you like. Malibu, Palos Verde, Laguna Beach, what's your fancy? I see by your profile you have dove California before, so you know we are 7mm wetsuit or drysuit territory. You should also note that beach diving in SoCal often requires a hike down and up a hill or cliff in full SCUBA gear.
Malibu is mostly trails (some maintained, some not) to the site across the face of the cliff. Not too bad, but they can be long walks. There are of course some exceptions where there are roads (paved and not) and stairs.
Palos Verde is goat trails down the face of the cliff. These can be quite steep an not for the faint of heart. Exception, Long Point (old marineland) and Malaga Cove and heart attack trail (Point Vincente fishing access).
Laguna Beach, stairs, lots of stairs.

Walking/running up hills is a good preparation for our local diving.
If you want to go diving, PM me or call 562-421-3094. I am available on a flexible schedule, but the wife does limit me to one day of diving a week (night dives don't count do they?).
