It has been a couple of months, he was in Spain and now....well you know. awesome guy Ben Mooney! Great friend!

Cabo, can you get any farther from Cancun and still be in Mexico.
i don't think Ben is going to like the cold water in Cabo as much as the warm water off of Cancun.

Hi Sue!

Scorpio is still around and better than before. I have now a full staff of 4 instructors offering new certifications from Discovery to Tec Rec and our array of unique sites.

Ben Mooney is no loner part of Scorpio and hasn't been for over 7 months now.

Me and Ben did not end in the best of terms for what I it doesnt surprise me he would recommend others.

Scorpio as you can read the reviews (that date back 7 months) has continued and its new staff offer very professional and good diving. For all who know me here, I like things from the divers point of view and strict to standards as I do run Scorpio in a very safe, fun manner.

Hope this clarifies some of the doubts in the board as Scorpio did not close nor is moving anywhere

I just returned from 2 weeks in Cancun and did four dives (2 mornings) with Mayan Aqua Dive. Let them know when you are coming and what your schedule is and they will do their best to show you the best dives available. I never saw more than 3 divers per Divemaster (their boat docks at the resort I stay at so I saw them every day). The whole crew is friendly, patient and willing to make changes based on conditions and your desires.

I know this is an old post but I want to correct my post - Ben is gone but Jorge still has Scorpio Divers. I just completed a week of diving with Scorpio Divers and had a great time. AND it appears they are the only dive operation in Cancun that offers transportation to and from your resort. Jorge also offers diving packages to other locations. So definitely give Jorge a call at Scorpio you will not be disappointed

Oh and also to help clear up what happened to Mayan Aqua Divers - not sure - but Scorpio purchased their boat the Taurus.

The conditions in march are unpredictable there is no forecast how the weather will be. The marine live on the other hand is fantastic we still have the eagle rays around and lot of fish to enjoy.
