I am considering doing the Dive Master Program as my next project. Without having to buy the materials yet, can someone that has been through this tell me some of their experiences. I understand about Emergency First Responder and Rescue but what I cannot seem to find out is the actual requirements of swimming etc. (again without buying the books). The Padi website doesn't list the requirements for this as far as I can find.

Thanks

I can read you out the NAUI requirements if you like! I doubt they'll be very far apart.

400 yard swim
800 yard snorkel
15 min tread water with the last 2 min with hands above water
100 yard diver tow.

Its a great program.

Thanks everyone. This is what I was looking for. Now I have to get my swimming shape up to par and I will jump in.

I *JUST* signed up for my Divemaster - EFR training last week. First class is this tuesday. PM me if you're interested in the details..
