Dive Log Software

Hi all,
I have been tinkering with creating a dive log. I have a first cut...call it an alpha if you will. Please download it and try it out and let me know what you think. The serial number is 12345. Here's the Link Let me know what you think.

I tried to download everything worked with the wizard but I get a error message saying its missing a file when I try to open the log please PM me with some help maybe its something I did Thanks

Ok...I found that all is not well with my install script...so I created a new one. Please uninstall the current version and download it again from HERE This one creates a DSN and everything for you. The only thing I ran into is that if you're not running default colors, the colors on the tabs aren't the same colors as the background of the tabs...(you'll understand once you see it) I'm working on that. Also in the program files/dive log/help folder, there is a help.html file that explains the basics of how to work it. There are some example dives in there as well...please enter one of your own before deleting all of the samples...I don't check for a zero entry in the database yet.

Something I have been looking for in a dive log that I have yet to find is a place for nitrox information. A suggestion would be to add some fields for niros such as Mix %, PPO, etc. so you can quickly glance and see what you used. Yes I put it in the comments of the log, but it would be awesome to have in one uniform place. Just a thought.

Saving an entry seems to be a problem. After filling out a log and clicking either New or Update I get the following error:

it still won't install. the same message about a file comes up.

I think I have located the problem with the install and will be working to fix it in my free time at work and maybe over the weekend. I will post again when the update is ready. Thanks to all that have endured this alpha phase of my software.
