I'm a Fish!
Can anyone recommend the type/brand/model of a dive light to use when searching for fish under the rocks and little "caves" while spearfishing (free diving) during DAYTIME please? Dive environment is usually bright days with good vis. (around 10 - 15 meters).

Mb-sub X1-FF with a 3 degree beam packs a big punch great for day dives. In AA battery configuration is also quite small. It has a magnetic switch and is very easy to operate with one hand, in fact just your thumb. Not cheap but great quality. I own and have owned several Mb-sub lights and have never had any issues, highly recommended.

The DRIS 1000 lumen light has plenty of power for daytime diving and will absolutely light up any dark spot you are trying to scope. And best of all it will not brake your bank either.

I use a cheap dive light from DX MJ-810-Shenzhen MINJUN Electronic Co.,Ltd with a few modifications I got from this forum. Its been a great light and its bright enough for our waters here. Mounted it on the gun with a modified reel mount and added the go-pro as well. Here is a photo of my setup. I like having everything mounted on the gun, less gear to manage.

Is the line on a reel attached to the gun on the right side of the gun? Or is the light attached slightly to the left of the line path at the bottom side of the gun?

The line is attached to the front of the gun on the right hand side. the line is held in place against the right hand side with a catch that disengages when you pull the trigger allowing about 15 feet of line to fall free.
