Hello,

I will be in Chicago for 4th of July weekend and was wondering what my options are for diving Lake Michigan (wrecks) during this period. I have 3 questions:

  1. Does anyone have any experience with and know dive outfits near the city (I won't have a car)?
  2. Is diving this tome of year Dry Suit or 7mm Wet suit (I'm not dry suit certified)
  3. Since I won't be traveling specifically for diving, is Chicago a big equipment rental destination? I know it isn't like Florida - but I'll need to rent everything but a mask/snorkel. Possible here?
