im going to dive lake keowee at the hot hole feb 17 anyone interested in diving some 65-70 degree water, going on a charter with some of the south carolina scubaboarders rates are 25-30 dollars for a two tank dive including fills.

I'm going too. Guess we got a small contingency of Georgia divers headin' up for the warm water.

Wish I could go but have family committments...

we can share a ride if you want dawg,my family has a cabin on lake hartwell, close to there i going to ride up there friday night before the dive and stay the night, will be a easier drive the next morning, your welcome to come if you want.

Thanks mark I appreciate the offer, but I will probably be working friday morning and friday night to make up for lost hours on saturday.... so i'll likely head up early saturday morning.

So have we got a South Carolina VS Georgia battle of the bubbles going on!! LOL :)
Glad you guys are coming up to join us. We promise to give you a proper SC welcome with your tanks delivered to the ramp and put on the boat for you!

Just got an email from Ben R from the Atlanta area and he is coming up too. I think the GA people might be out numbering the SC folks on this dive.

I should have final clearance on Weds, I think I'm a class B bachelor next weekend :-) If so, I'll be heading up early Sat am from Duluth area. I have an SUV and can carpool if anyone wants to.

Anyone have any opinions on whether a 3mm full suit is enough rubber for the water temps there? I've been thinking of getting a 3mm long sleeve shorty as well to throw over it.

if the weather is warm that should work, they rent 6 mill suits at the dive shop there,im taking a 3 mill and a hooded 7 mill suit.

If you are going to rent a suit from the Off the Wall, we will need to have you make arrangements to be there early since they are not open for walk in business that day. Our boat trip is the only thing they have going on. He can meet you at the shop early if you like or you can bring along a suit from a local shop near you
