Nothing is perfect but the items I would replace without thought are:

-ForceFin Pro with bungee strap
-XSScuba quick attach tank band wt pockets
-5 mm hooded vest with the smooth gold lining-- custom made
-Miflex hoses

There is no perfect gear, off the shelf, in my opinion. That goes for just about any gear intensive hobby I've ever come across. I'm always tweaking things to make them "just right" for me. My Billabong 3 mm wetsuit is probably the closest I've ever come to "perfect" for gear, and now I can't replace it because nothing comes close in a price range I'm willing to pay, not even a similar Billabong. I just found some seam tape though so I may just replace the seam tape and keep it for another 10 years.

I'd also probably replace my gekkos with gekkos or zoops.

Couldn't agree more! My first (and only) computer ... ideal entry-level, and to be honest, if it should happen to slip off your wrist, due to the lower price point, are you going to be that upset?


Oh BTW, perfect custom-tailored 3mm full-length wetsuit w/ big cargo pockets along legs.
