Does anyone have experience with DGX's inflator assy octo? I have and like the airsource 3 on my BC and was looking for one for my son's, but this is less than half of the cost. I also like how the buttons on it are more distinguished from each other compared to the airsource.

If it is third air source and not your backup, it might be ok. I saw on one safary when mouth part had issue of free flow and diver disconnected air from BC and used only oral inflation. In mine configuration I prefer "not combined" parts. Each one doing only its job.

Thanks for the info, there is even directions in the reviews on how to adjust resistance and eliminate a leak. DGX is local to me, so will be easy return if there are problems. I'll post our experience once we've used it.

DGX customer service and return policy are awesome. Every piece of their gear that I have tried has been good.

My default now is that when I need a piece of gear I check them first. If they make a version of what I need, I try it first before I think about trying anything else.
