Dive friendly hotels in Monterey and Carmel

Hi all,

I am planning to dive both Saturday and Sunday as the weather and wave forecast looks fantastic. Does anyone have good recommendations for dive friendly hotel/motels in the area? I see one place called the Comfort Inn in Monterey that has outdoor showers to rinse gear after a beach shore dive.

really close to do a shore dive off of break water in Monterey they are $109 per night- used to be $60 :depressed: .

Also this place is super closeout to downtown and you can just walk there to get around and walk there to dive but I'm not sure if you want to lug your stuff there. Hope this is helpful. Oh this is not a frilly place but excellent to get your dive on and relax and be out and about the rest of the day.

The Travelodge in Monterey is also diver-friendly, but I have not stayed there. They have a dunk tank for gear. You can also use two of their showers even after you've checked out for the day.

I called two dive shops in Monterey, and got two more names: Wagon Wheel Inn and Foam Street Inn. The latter does not show up in a web search, but there is a Best Western on Foam St. I have not verified if these places are diver-friendly, but I'll include them here for future reference.
