Only one class there that I could see. Viz was 1 foot for most of the dive. Saw 3 turtles and a few bass. Northeast of Sisco there is a large clam bed where viz opened up to 3 feet.

Fun dive :)

Lake Travis, Bob Wentz

Divers – paulw bogrady

Air Temp - 81

Water Temp 61 (from 0-85ft)

Max Depth - 85'

Vis to 70' - 15'

Vis @ 70 to 85' - 4'

Dive Time - 55 min

Nice weekday dive but the water is getting COLD! The vis was really nice to about 70' where it drops to about 3 or 4', I turned at 85' and Bill went on below 90 and said the vis just continued to get worse. I saw the very same conditions at the Dam last Saturday, really nice vis until 70 where it got worse until I turned at 95' where I could barely see my hand.

Air Temp -47

Water Temp - 57

Max Depth - 65'

The Oak Hill Scuba Dive Team "New Years Day dive" was a little on the chilly side this year but it was still a great time!

Lake Murray - Marietta's Landing
Jan 12, 2013

Teammates: Bryan and Greg

Air Temp: Not bad to...cold as the front moved in. Started at 52 and was in the 30s when we left.

Surface Temp: 47
Temp @ 54': 45

Vis:8-15' varied. 12-15' was closer to max depth of 54 ft and we had ambient light at that depth, even on a cloudy day.

The good news: As it has been for months now, the vis is not deteriorating at Lake Murray.

Blue Hole, Georgetown, TX - 02/16/13 @ 8:30 am
Temp - 57 degrees
Max Depth - 11 ft.
Viz - 20 ft +
Duration - 50 minutes
Dive Buddy - GaryBDavis

A bit silty near the dam but cleared up nicely about 100 ft upstream. Not many fish to be seen but tons of turtles, mostly red ears. There are some very nice overhangs, rock outcroppings and boulders. Similar to the Comal but without the current. This is a really fun dive, especiaaly in the spring when the fish are plenty and the temps are higher allowing for a 90 minute + dive on one 80 cf tank.
