Dive computer - pull out battery between dive outings?

Shearwater advises to remove the battery from the Perdix, Predator, Petrel regardless of whether it's an alkaline, saft, lion, etc. for long-term storage.
Where do they advise that? I’ve only seen warnings for alkaline batteries. There is a warning specific to alkalines on the website under the FAQ section.

There is also a Yellow warning box under alkaline batteries in the Perdix manual that advises not storing with alkaline batteries for longer than 2 months. I haven’t seen any similar warning for the other battery types.
