Thursday is Sea Ventures Dive Club in Fullerton at Double D's (formerally Giovanni's Pizza) at the corner of Euclid St and Williamson Way @ 7pm.
Captain Ron from the Temecula Valley Dive Club will be talking about 'Sur-Diver' that will be held at Casino Point November 13th and 14th. 'Sur-Diver' is a fund raiser in which some or all proceeds are used to support recused marine animals. 'Sur-Diver' is like that of the TV show Survivor in which there are contestants (Scuba Divers) that go through various skills tests under water and above water. There are many companies that are supporting this event by donating fantastic prizes! Entry fee is $50/ per diver. If interested in more information, please attend our meeting.
I want to encourage everyone to get involved in a dive club, not just one club, but more than one. There are alot of great groups out there throughout Orange County and LA County. It's a good way to network, to meet new buddies, and to do things that perhaps other clubs do not offer, not to mention the educational value from all of the fabulous speakers!!!
