Location
We live in Valparaiso, FL and dive out of Destin,
I've done my Internet and Scubaboard searches, so now I would like to solicit the latest recommendations for dive operators in Pompano Beach/Ft Lauderdale. Can anyone comment on the list below, or add an operator that should be considered? I prefer non-cattleboats.

Thanks!!

Actually, I will be interested in seeing the feedback you get on this. I have been out on the Fathoms O'Fun, Miss Conduct, and another one out of Boca Raton, Diversity. I like the convenience of Fathoms O'Fun - it is docked right behind Lighthouse Dive Center - and the crew is nice. The Miss Conduct is a smaller boat and the Capt. seems very knowledgeable. The Diversity is okay but difficult to find. I wasn't thrilled with some of the other divers on board, and that may have influenced my view of the trip.

I've been out of fish food, nice boat. And my friends go out on lady go diver and fathoms all the time. I would recommend them.

I'm planning on diving off Lady Go Diver on Sunday. talked to the Capt (Rob) on the phone, seems to be a real nice guy and they do have an excellent reputation.

Tom,

I hope you'll post a comment on the Lady Go Diver after the weekend!

I'll do it. I expect, based on what I've heard, that it will be completely positive regarding the boat and crew. I think the seas are going to be pretty bumpy though.....

Re: the bumpy seas, that's just because the Atlantic somehow senses that I am coming your way with dive gear. I'm sorry.

Heh, that's ok, I need a good workout anyway!

I can recommend South Florida Diving Headquarters. Good boat, I have gone out with that boat on about 30 dives. I am adding reviews of dive boats to my site. Also, we are FINALLY getting a decent host for the site. Follow dive site suggestions to boat dives and you will see the listings for each area of the coast. Tell me what you think of the site.
