Did any of you guys happen to make it out? They had some pretty good prizes. But it kinda sucks due to that fact that the orginizers only get donation that dive shops can't sell, like for instance a XXL BC, 53 CF tank, but it was a good time. I ended winning a cool bottom time towel with a half naked lady on it. It was kinda coincidence that I forgot to bring any towels with me. I am stationed at Scott AFB, IL, but I try to go down there at least once a month so if any of you guys need a dive buddy or just wanna get together down there. Oh yeah, Dave the owner has a son named James that will haul your tank up the hill and fill it and bring it back to you for a buck. Tip him, he is trying to buy dive gear. :D

It wasn't all junk. The tank was a 63 not a 53. Perfect for a small person (like my 13 year old daughter). The BC was a XL, I won it, was able to trade it for another one that fit me. Wife one one of those color corecting mask. I stole it from her and really like it. So I guess it depends on what you won. I enjoyed it because I came out like a bandit.

Oh, buy the way, it was the luck of the draw. The Sherwood regulator was one of the prizes, it just didn't happen to be drawed. 2 years ago my son won a rolling Akona dive bag, worth arround $180.00. So I guess it depends on what you got back for your entry fee.

Just don't give up. The more people who show up each year the better it will be.

I won the 63 cf tank, but traded it off to my dive buddies for the towel they won and $100. All~n~All not a bad day.

I love the treasure hunts.
