dive centres or shops in new york city

Sorry if this tread is in the wrong section I wasnt sure which one to put it under
I am planning on coming over from Ireland to work in New york for the summer and I was wondering if anyone could reccommend dive shops or centres in and around new york city and suburbs
and if they can would they attach addresses or web sites please
