Kevfin:
John, thanks for putting this together. Super job! It was a great idea and I’m thrilled to have been able to go.

It was a pleasure meeting everyone and lots of fun putting faces to all of the Scuba- names and avatars.

For people that have never met Rick, he is truly a class act. It was an honor to dive with him and Tony (ScubaLizard).

I had a great time.

Oh, and thank you Claudette and Scott. If it weren’t t for you two, I’d probably have driven by the location. :D

Glad you had fun Terry and Kevin! BTW Kevin - I saw that limerick you wrote on your dive slate!! Better post it in the limericks forum. Terry - can we just pretend I did a third dive? I seriously better crash, or I'm not going to make it back over to the dive park tomorrow!

Had a lot of fun yesterday! Great dives and great company. It was nice to meet some more Scubaboarders including the famous Rick Inman. :) John - thanks again for arranging everything. I'm glad to have been a part of the trip. Claudette - as always you were an awesome buddy!

It was a good day as a finish to my 2005 diving. Look forward to diving with everyone again in 2006!

had an awsome time meeting everyone! made some pals & found more military veterans as well. great pose & just plain awsome dives! i'm so happy kevin & rick put up with my novicen abilities. couldnt have asked for a better experience. thanks for setting this up john & was a pleasure meeting your family as well =)

Hey Tony and Scott - glad you had fun, and it was great meeting you both! Let's make a point to dive together again, OK? It was fun puting this one together for Mr. Inman, who I just saw off at the Catalina Express terminal in Dana Point. He had a big grin on his face, so I think we showed him some great So Cal hospitality.

I had a lot of fun arranging the charter and there is one thing I did learn. We have a very valuable resource in Headhunter! There are a lot of details and legwork that go into group boat dives and he does several at a time, not to mention the monthly Wrinkles dives. Thanks Christian for all you do, and I hope to meet and see more ScubaBoarders (especially you lurkers) at future events!

Also thanks to you John Wetrat for arranging today's trip to Casino Point Dive Park, Avalon Catalina.

And a special thanks to our logistics manager, Priscilla Inman - for doing 10x more than any non-diver I've ever met. I enjoyed meeting the Inmans, HBDiveGirl, and yourself, had a blast, thanks.

Hey Mike - that was FUN!! I feel like I scaled the learning curve a little more today diving with such an experienced group of squared-away divers! I especially appreciated the trim tips you gave me on the way back to Dana Point. I'm ready now to start working on fine adjustments. Lol - that was pretty funny Rick was so into teaching about bouyancy with that water bottle that he spilled his coffee! Thanks for joining us. And, Priscilla was awesome!! Not sure we would have made the boat back without her!

You know I thought it pretty smart of the express boat to have built its trays with a small lip all the way around (like a giant plastic dish). So little of that coffee actually got on him and I - amazing. Be sure and let me know how the adjustments work out and also if you end up making the investment in some new jet fins with spring straps, climbing over those entry/exit rocks at low tide today would have been a real challenge without spring straps.

WARNING!! The last two posts constitute a TROLL and are against to TOS! Any more talk of coffee spillage will result in permanent banning of all the witnesses - Ah, I mean posters.

Or worse, I'll post some of those surface pictures!

:D

Thank you everyone or the friendly California welcome and hospitality!!!

I promise to be good! Please don't put me in time out, Rick. Now, you told us you were a PhotoShop guru. If you insist on punishing us with surface pictures, I'll need to be thinner, no wrinkles, blonde hair - well, just put in pictures of Brad Pitt and say it's me...
