Well, Spectrum, you bring up a good point except, a kayak weighs about 50 pounds and pulls effortlessly and anchors well with a 2 pound anchor if need be. A dive yak has a tank well designed for holding a tank. A dive yak sits close to the water and can easily be manhandled by the diver and even with all of that diving from a yak is a challenge. Yeah, you can put on your suit, put your BP/wing on and weights and then jump on to your two seat Jetski and blast off, fall of the back, dive, tow it along, maybe have your buddy or gf or wife sit up topside while your down. Then somehow clamber back aboard or take the gear off, climb aboard and then put the gear back on for the ride back, sure, go ahead. A dive kayak works with some skill practice because it is BUILT for the purpose, a jet ski is not purpose built like my Ocean Kayak Scupper Pro TW (the TW means scuba tank well). So, until Kawasaki or SeaDoo build a scuba version of their annoying noise makers, the practical answer is the one I gave, NO. Ninety seven to go.
