Im planning a trip to Morrisons Spring for July 24. With all the rain lately I was looking for a conditions report of the water from someone that has been there within the last few days. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks. I thought about that and tried to find a website that would have that information. I found a few that gave the levels the Choctawahatchee River but wasn't sure what the numbers were telling me. Can you advise on a site and what water level would be considered good to dive. On another note, I called Vortex Springs (that the previous weekend had a terrible algea bloom an reportedly had to close) and they said the conditions at Morrisons were terrible but Vortex was sparkling clear. I called a dive shop in Destin that reported bad conditions at Morrosions but the coast was great and they had dive boats going out. I called a shop in Marianna who said the conditions at Morrisons were great. I was tempted to make the 2 hour one way drive to see for myself to see who I could trust. I wish the site had a good web cam or consitions were reported by the state Fish and Game.
