I have a Scubapro Chromis that I use as my backup computer. It's great for traveling and the right size to wear as a second computer. I have had several other Uwatec/Scubapro computers but none with the deep stop feature until now. I will have to say that I don't like it and it comes on when I don't really need to make a deco stop, especially since I do no decompression diving. Is there any way to disable this annoying feature?

Hey it may be the PDIS setting.
  • PDIS (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops) calculates an intermediate stop based on N2 loading, current and previous dives and breathing mixes for safer diving.
There is a setting where you can disable this feature.

I have the same computer and whilst i do the stops where i can, it wont lock you out or go into error if you miss them,

I agree, they can be annoying.

If you need any help to disable this feature let me know

Cheers

Nath
