I'm sure this has been discussed at one time or another.I was wondering in using a DIR setup how long of a hose for the spare reg or oct,and where do find the bungee strap for hanging around your neck?

22"-24" hose are pretty common. I prefer the 24" hose for both my single and double tank setup.

You can find it at places like reefscuba, http://www.idahosewingforsports.com/cgi-bin/oxcart.pl?section=catalog&page=subcat_page&scatid=22 (who is a scubaboard member and a great guy) or buy premade ones from http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3630370708&category=16056

They are easy to make should you make your own.

I use a 36" hose and route it under the arm with a Sherwood Maximus as octopus. If you route it over the arm then 22-24 should be enough.

FYI

In a DIR configuration, the hose is not routed under the arm.
