I like mine. I'm not a DIR diver, but use an AUL halogen light for shooting video. Great light and VERY affordable. Proven reliability, easy to find replacement batteries and bulbs, ability to turn on/off anytime and a fraction the cost of HID.

Does the size cause any issues? I noticed it's 5"diameter by 14" tall, which seems kind of big.

Well, I ended up getting a Pro 3 10W HID for $300. I think it will serve me well for the foreseeable future. It was a tough call though, on the extra money.
