Din vs Yoke

Am i right to assume correctly that all true DIR and Tec divers use din valves on their tanks and 1 stages?

Most tech divers use DIN,but yoke was used for many years without problems. I think the most important thing is have one type of connection for all your regs and don't mix them up ie DIN for backgas and yoke for stage/deco. It would be a pity to have a failure on your yoke oxygen bottle,and only have DIN valves on the other regs.
 
It also has a nasty habit of making you spend tons of money on new gear. You know the stuff you don't necessarily need but want :wink:

At least the class helps educate one to eliminate most of the stupid purchases.

Your next dollar spent on diving should be a DIR-F class. It will save you a ton of money.
