do i need to be concerned with the "slip on" cap on my legend lx acd while rinsing/soaking? the cap comes off pretty easily so i bought an xs screw on cap but don't tighten it all the way down...

I have a Legend Glacia ACD with DIN. I think the slip-on cap is more to protect the Din threads. I've never had any issues rinsing and/or soaking. I do leave the cap off while drying.

101 recon is absolutely right. On units with ACD (auto-closure device) the cap is only there to provide protection to the threads. It serves no function in keeping water or dirt out.
