PADI has created an easy and efficient way to check your instructor's status to ensure that he or she is a current PADI Instructor and authorized to teach. It's called Procheck and can be accessed by anyone.
To check on a PADI Professional's current status with PADI Americas, PADI Canada, PADI Asia Pacific (Pacific Rim) and PADI International Ltd.(UK, Africa and Middle East), please call 800 729-7234 (within the US) or 949 858 7234 and listen for the prompt. Please be aware that you will need to know the instructor's PADI number in order to access the information.
*Procheck is not available in all territories at this time. To check on a member's status not available on Procheck, please contact the appropriate Local Area Office (listed below) directly.
