My employer's medical insurance cover hyperbaric chamber treatments when medically necessary as well as helicopter transport. However I'm waiting on more written info to see what the small details are. We know how insurance companies are.
Has anyone had their insurance cover ALL of the costs of treatments at a chamber? Without having to use their DAN insurance? Of perhaps you know of someone elses results?

My medical insurance covered all of the chamber costs,(these were from a separate billing entity rather than the hospital) for 6 "table 6" rides, and almost all of the other medical costs. ( It declined to pay approx $300 the hospital bill.)

The DAN insurance picked up that amount, plus covered for 3 more days at the hotel, new tickets home, and the cost of shipping my gear/our luggage home.(all were "Drs. orders", in writing).(Approx $3000 total).

Wow. Exactly what I needed to hear. Thankyou.

plus if I remember correectly the DAN will fly ffam member to you and since ya can't fly home, help with a rental to drive?
