He didnt really have a 'childhood' in the normal sense, so he is having it now.

I should also add that him sleeping with kids troubles me deeply, whatever his motivation behind it.

:all:

A lot of people were deprived a 'normal' childhood, but they didn't go around sleeping with 12 year old children in a bid to recover what they lost. Nor did they dangle babies out of hotel windows and dress their kids up in masks and bond with chimpanzees or live in oxygen tents (is that one an urban myth) or alter their faces beyond recognition.

Sorry KB, but that doesn't explain his behaviour, let alone excuse it. Gary Glitter was quite talented as well, but that's a whole other story.

For our American friends, this documentary is to be screened by ABC this Friday. Don't miss it! Apparently the police will be tuned in as well.
:dj:

I never liked his music. All that squeaking and stuff. And rubbing his groin like a woman. Yeuch.

I can't believe that he allowed half of what was filmed to be filmed. But then he is in some sort of fantasy world. He could have used this as an opportunity to show the world that he is not that abnormal. Instead, he made matters worse for him. As Irish says, nop doubt the rozzers will interested in his relationship with Kevin or whatever the poor kid's name was.

As a father of 2 small uns meself I just do not know how the authorities have let him get away with his behaviour vis a vis his kids and not hauled his ass in for questioning. Mind you, hard to tell where his ass is, I expect! Could be on his face for all we know!

much less 2 hours watching this freak show....do something productive, sort your socks or wash off your driveway...

I watched it out of a morbid sense of curiousity. My fiance and I found ourselves horrified at what we saw.

I'm not sure I can agree with KB about him being extremely talented , but that might be to do with the fact that I'm 17 years older than him

Sleeping with other peoples children is wrong which ever way you cut it.

You should watch it IMHO, if only to see what a mess he has made of his life. All that money could do some genuine good, instead of spending obscene amounts on ornaments !

Right off me soapbox now sorry all.

while watching the programme actually, cyklon.

As for washing my driveway, haven't you noticed, this is the forum for the Brits. It hasn't stopped raining in the UK for 25 years!

...and I'be been recycling old jokes for 49 years - also a hard habit to break.

Did you hear about Matthew Kelly and Pete Townshend having dinner together the other day. They finished the dessert course and Kelly turns to Townshend and says:".......

Would you please mind passing over the Under Eights."

cruel but V funny !

Jim, I'm not sure I understand what you were getting at ?

Maybe me being thick but it's been a long week and its only Wed lunchtime. :(
