DFW metroplex Heads up- Nascar

Just a friendly reminder Nascar is all weekend long this year.
Friday night is Truck,
Saturday is Busch
And Sunday is the big day.

I live in Keller and we are not looking forward to this.
They are making highway changes and looks like traffic for the estimated 200k people is going to be nuts. I-35 North and 121/114 in the neighborhood is going to go crazy.
Plus, there has been construction going on at 820North split to I-35.

Sounds like a good weekend to visit Athens scuba park!

Not really... I keep planning to do a dive at Lake Pat Mayse.
I figure I might find some stuff by the swim beach and the boat ramp and maybe a fossil and a fishing lure or two in a place I scouted. Vis. will suck no doubt but it's only 17 miles away. Someday it's going to happen. I'll write a report when it does.
