Ahhh cool. literally. I opted for the latex seal instead of the rings. I watched a few people use the ring system and they kept getting leaks, mostly from not putting them on correctly. I have about zero patience when I am in my drysuit anyways so I just did not feel like standing around and messing with them. Do you have to send your drysuit to have the rings installed on the cuff or can you install them?

Nope. Installing a ring system is quiet easy and only takes a couple minutes. One ring inside the latex seal and the cuff over the latex seal. Push them together and it's done. It's the same basic process for the gloves. I use the Si-Tech system myself.

is a viking dealer, and they stock nearly everything. I was floored when I went in there, to see so much Viking equipment in stock. You can find them on the web at www.kickadyscuba.com.

From the info I've gotten from Bob3 and TSandM, the rings can be added and removed somewhat easily but unless you need to shove your hands in tight holes, people generally just leave them in regardless of using gloves.

I can get the ring system for my Bare suit but I have just held out. I just didn't want to send it in. Nice to hear you can install your rings with that suit. I may have held out long enough that I now will use the latex gloves and then after this season get a DUI with Zip seals.

Well that's it, I am ditching the dry gloves because the right one leaked again today. I obviously do not have the patience to don them correctly once I am all geared up. I am going to use my 7MM Bare gloves, Metalite with Kevlar palms.
