If you're planning to spend time snooping around Lahaina, that's a good time to combine a snorkel at Black Rock. I'd even suggest spending the morning shopping in Lahaina, have lunch, then spend the afternoon snorkeling Black Rock and enjoying Kaanapali Beach. You could rent a beach cabana type chair for 2 at the Sheraton that would offer bar service, etc. It's a really fabulous way to enjoy a few hours on the beach.

Were getting married on a beach (Makena Cove), then later that night we need to be at the Old Lahaina luau by 7pm for dinner. We have a lot of time to kill before dinner, but i don't know if we can fit in a snorkel so far from the hotel. I'll have to see if i can maneuver something. Thanks for the recommendation though!
