I want to do that night dive, when would we be able to swing one with tides being right and all?

The water will be cold and dark during the winter months when tides are at night, until then, you can hit Vortex at night . (Now charging $32 for diving)

Funny, in MA, there are two sets of tides a day.

Yeah, we have that sometimes too, but we call it neap and vis usually sucks! LOL I think most of the Atlantic coast has 2 tidal periods a day, would be more conveniet for sure.

yeah, tidal shifts about every 6.5 hours. so you had alternating tides on the weekends. If this weekend was high tide in the morning, next weekend would be low in the morning. made for interesting dive schedules.

You guys gonna be around on Monday too? I am coming to either Destin or Gulf Shores for the holiday weekend. I have never been diving at either location and I would hate to get this close and not go.
