Man that looks ALOT different than the a few weeks ago. Sad, awesome dive site when the water levels are down... We were hoping to do our advanced dives there in Januaray, I suppose that isn't going to happen!

In the past, water levels in the colder months have lowered slowly. Morrison has been very low this year, so who knows, it may end up dropping back down really quick.

Besides, if there is a low vis or navigation portion in your AOW, what fun would it be in pristine water :p Boring!

Let's hope it's down by Jan and back to normal good vis. As far as the nav portion of the advanced goes... I can close my eyes =P

Aside from this year, in the past 3 years I've been diving it, normal visibility wasn't exactly all that good :p

What was that "batfish" looking thing?

Since there has been a long time between floodings of Morrison, the organic matter on the land has probably built up and mades the "flush" worse. Maybe it will settle down a little and at least give a funnel of clear water above the basin.

Awsome pics. I need to hire you to teach Digital UW.

SBM,

It looks like GFWB and I are going to try and hit the Navarre Beach pier tomorrow at 2pm. Are you in the area?
