Night dives are great fun, different critters, different atmosphere - I've yet to do a night dive in Destin, but it wouldn't take much twisting on my arm to change that!

I've had a ton of experience night diving elsewhere.

I’m bringing a small crew (4 divers, 4 snorkelers, a few beach layer arounders) to the Destin jetties at 7.30am ish. My plan is to have breakfast about 6, hit the scuba shop at 7, and be in the water by 7.30. I guess we will see how this works out and hopefully we will see some of you there.

Since I have a small group to watch my stuff I’m bringing my 3mm just in case, but the last few times I ended up in shorts/t-shirt/gloves. The trek to the beach is miserable in that wet suit on a hot day!

I’ve never been on a night dive and was thinking I may wait until my advanced class in October to try it out. It sounds slightly intimidating but I am very interested in the idea. My friends are more experienced than I am by far, maybe I can convince them to take me out and show me how it’s done.

Don't get there before 7 - I want a good parking spot :D. We'll probably be at the water by 7:30 or so. Hope to meet you.

I have a change of plans. I will be boating in around 8:30........otto
