With all the traffic overhead, I thought maybe we'd get a message back or at least a new wreck to dive as the bottle breached the hull of some watercraft and it sank a few yards from us :thumb:.

Good thinking, we should launch sub-sea to surface rockets more often - LOL :D

Hey Ya'll! I am still here. Well, technically I am. I have been off the boards for so long you probably thought I was gone.

It has been a very long, and rough year for me. My Dad, went down hill fast after my dive trip to Bonaire last June. In case you don't remember he had lung cancer, and was living with us. He had to be hospitalized right after July 4th and just didn't make much improvement. He came off his chemo, and had hospice started. He passed away quietly on August 17th.

I have had alot of adjustments and things going on since then. I have only made one dive since then, that was in Feb. when my husband took me on a cruise. I totally enjoyed it, but felt so out of shape. I am going to Dominica with my LDS in two weeks for a week of diving! I can't wait.

I have been working out at Curves trying to get a little more muscle built back. I felt it in my legs in Feb. so I am hoping that my workouts will help improve that.

I missed everyone here. Oh, we kept my Dad's place in Destin, just can't get there often enough. I will be there though for the Fourth of July weekend, let me know if the tides will be right at the jetty. Would love to do some diving again with you all.

Not sure which weekendyou are coming down, but it could be a plan in the making? :)

We will drive down on Friday 6/30. I should be there on Sa 7/1 and Su 7/2, and Mo 7/3 probably will drive home on 7/4.

Glad you're back. Looks like a tide swing on the days you're here - are you over the spring diving aversion yet? :D

Don't know, haven't thought about it lately. I like Ginnie Springs, that is where I did my cert dives.

Cindy

Keep those springs in mind, might be better than the lower flow at the jetties.
