Theres a high tide hitting the Destin Jetties around 4:20PM next Saturday. It looks like there will be quite a tidal swing between low and high tide, so I'm hoping for some good clear gulf waters to invade the pass. I'll be in town with a bunch of non-divers so we'll be in the area early to enjoy the topside beach attractions(and spring breakers). If anyone is interested in the dive, they are more than welcome to join us for some underwater/abovewater fun.

Water temperatures are in the mid-60s currently and rising. I'm hoping for spring-like temperatures by this weekend and crossing my fingers for good visibility.

I won't be able to make it over to Destin this weekend. I'll try to dive around here, but I'll definately see you the 16th. Hope the vis is clear, when will they be done dredging?

sorry double post

No idea, but I doubt anytime too soon. I'm hoping with the strong tidal swing we'll luck out with the visibility.

Sure, just shoot me a line - should be a good time and I think the weather will actually cooperate.
