Thanks SBM...touchy delete, but works...and thanks for the comment...

Need to be diving farther off shore with all this rain water entering the gulf...I understand Sunday it was calm, but I had to go get my 100's from Peacock springs...this weekend, at least so far, it is looking great.

Jim as always i'm jelous! we can see the same fish in the same place and you make your shots come to life. Great shots!

Lisa, you are way too kind.

I have a couple advantages over you at the current time..

1. I have a lot more experience than you do...think old.

2. I was trained by one of the 20th century's great photographers (only wish I had about 5% of his talent).

3. I know the fish, the reefs and the behavior of the animals off shore (Seayoda kicks my butt in shallow water).

And if you add all of that up, and have around $4.00, you can get a cup of fancy coffee at a starbucks.

Good underwater photographs are part luck, equipment, conditions and some knowledge of how to take that specific picture...with luck sometimes being the most important part.

You keep trying and one day my stuff will look like junk.

Hey Jim, thanks for posting the pictures. I was on the boat next to you and Glen (aka greg). Had a wonderful time and was glad you guys posted these pics so I could show them to family and friends. Maybe see you guys down that way again.

Welcome to scubaboard.. I'm down just about every weekend that the weather is good.

Should have more this weekend...

Good to see you on here Mike. I have a LOT more pictures that I didn't post. I may even have one of you. I got a few underwater shots of other divers...but I can't tell who is who...it is like taking pictures of a bunch of criminals...everyone is wearing masks!:D

I don't make it down nearly as often as I would like! Next time I do though I'll check with you guys and see if you're around.

I'd love to check out more pics if you have them Glen. Especially if you caught me in any, my girls would get a big kick out of that. If you don't mind of course. Maybe message me and we'll figure out a good transfer method. I'm sure they take up a bit of space lol.
