We had a lovely.. well I don't know it's name.. almost a foot long... and I violated my "never chase a fish" rule... with expected results... the only good image I got was a typical butt shot... hate that:

Here is bad side shot:

Now the good and the bad...

One of the hardest fish I find to get a good shot of, are the small puffers.. they don't like the camera pointed at them... they move a lot... but got several good images of one on that dive:

Then, I took a picture of a small grouper, and afterwards noticed a really neat crab in the left hand corner... darn.. never saw it at the time:

Then, at the end of the dive, I took a picture of the same crab that Glen did... neat color:

Well, for the worst water of the year so far for photography... not great, but not terribe.

As Glen pointed out, we had a great lunch...all and all a very nice day.. good people, good diving, good food..

I down size all my images to 1024 x 768, but the images here are much smaller than that.. I would suggest looking at them in my SB account, and click to view the larger size... next time will have a better account to post from...

those burrfish will kiss your camera on night dives. I can't figure why, but they are much, much easier to photograph at night.

For some reason, they and the sharp nosed puffer don't like the big glass on the G10 case...I could get one in my hand, until I point the camera at them.....thankfully most other fish don't seem so bothered.

After a very short surface break...down to the rubble...

I shot this under a ledge.. upside down...

Note: just pretend it was right side up and ignore the fish in the background.

I saw Puffer Fish hanging upside taking this picture...I can attest to the fact that he worked hard for this one. I was heading over to him so I could get a picture of him hanging upside down...I was to late to get the shot though.
