I got a deal on an Aeris 750 GT last week. Only problem is that there was no instruction manual included and the dealer hasn't been able to track one down. I'm leaving for Aruba in 3 days, so beginning to get a bit desperate. If anyone has a PDF version of the manual they could e-mail to me, I would be forever grateful. My e-mail address is trobinso@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

Aeris' website says that manual is no longer availlable, I wonder why?

Perhaps they ran out. It happens. (Though it's odd they don't post the PDF.)

_IF_ I recall correctly, the 750GT is functionally identical to the Oceanic DataTrans Plus, whose manual is still downloadable here. Different display layout, but otherwise the same.

(Later: I got curious and bopped around the Wayback Machine for a while; it doesn't look like Aeris *ever* offered a download of the 750GT manual.)

You got it right on both counts. I owned a 750GT and yes functionally it is identical to the DataTrans Plus. The display is the only difference, I liked the layout of the Aeris better and that was the reason I got the 750GT. I had my paper manual and compared it to the PDF for the DataTrans Plus, and the only differences were the company name and the specific illustrations and references to screen layout.

Aeris never had a PDF of the manual, I even called them on the phone to ask why. I got some feeble answer that they did not have time, but if I took the time to make one they would be happy to offer it as a download. I think I just got the guy on a bad day.

Thanks to everyone who responded - I'm printing the DataTrans Plus manual as we speak!!

Happy diving,

I just saw an ebay ad for a AERIS 750 GT for $200. Is that a lot?

Hard to say... was the ad as old as this thread?
