Almost makes me want to do shore dives on the mainland, Phil! But an hour's swim to get to shore from 75 ft depths? Ugh... I'll stick with the steep slopes here on the island!
That was underwater time. The surface swim was "only" twenty minutes. When we dive the point it is a 23-27 minute surface swim followed by a 60-110 minute underwater crawl back to the beach. If that's not enough, we then have the hauling gear back up to the parking lot routine. More often than not it is worth the effort. 331 Marineland dives and counting. :)

We have a lot of kelp this year. I saw two GSB on a dive at Marineland last month. It's just like Casino Point, except for the vis, entry, etc. We even have Garibaldis at the 120 Reef. :)
We do have a fresh water shower though.
