Getting checked by your doctor is probably best and then you will know for sure. My daughter who lives in Cayman contracted Dengue in either Sri Lanka or Korea a couple of years ago. Was horribly sick but okay now. She just keeps a heightened awareness when she travels. Interestingly Florida has been high on the list of places to use some level of precaution. My other half had it is a kid in Africa, luckily he has never had a repeat adventure despite trips to Asia, Central America and some of our Caribbean neighbors where mosquito control is not as well managed. Hopefully you too will lucky, but having a formal diagnosis can help you take proper precautions. :).
