DEMA Returns to New Orleans in 2020. Why?

Why exactly did DEMA stop going to New Orleans to begin with?


Has something changed to make a show there viable again?

DEMA cancelled New Orleans because Katrina left the city unprepared to handle big conventions during its long recovery.

I'm not a Vegas fan either.

Strange. Admittedly, my memory may be faulty, but I thought the last NOLA DEMA was in 2001 and Katrina was in 2005.

Las Vegas was fun...once. Been there, done that.

There was 1 scheduled in NOLA for either 2006 or 2007, don't remember which that was moved to Orlando which is why those 2 years were in Orlando before resuming rotation with Vegas.
