Delta launching once a week flight from ATL

Starting 12/16, Delta will be flying one flight per week ATL -> CUR. This will be like the flights to Bonaire, and will be year round.

I, for one, am very excited. I wonder if this is the start of fare wars with American in the Caribbean.

From what I have read on the FB Curacao group is that it's in Curacao, but not bad as of now.

The availability to make reservations will start tomorrow, 7/16.

Delta must be expecting a good turnout for the trip. $1,384 pprt in coach. Only two seats have been sold so far, in comfort for $1,914 (assuming they didn't use miles). I think I can wait a little bit on my trip.

That looks like their Bonaire pricing model. Not sure that will work for Curacao. Certainly not for us where we can fly JetBlue for a half to a third of that

anyone know what day of the week that Delta flight is? year round? also, where does Jet Blue fly from into Curacao- is there a route out of FLL or anywhere in the southern US that you know of? We used Jet Blue once years ago to Barbados but can't remember if it was out of Miami or FLL. Thanks!!
